Driving on a Rainy Night
- Love the fact that the aircon makes the car more chillier than usual
- Will never go 5th gear on a rainy night… better to be alive than dead
- Strategies in EDSA such as keeping right on Taft Area (northbound) saves up more than 5 mins than keeping left and trying to drive fast (this is actually wrong even if Taft area is clogged with buses that only the leftmost lane is passable and you’re gonna swerve on the bottleneck area)
- Mind over heart: no emotions, less recklessness, less wreckage :p
- Long drives on a rainy [chilly] night is more gas saving than on a hotter temp… physics thingie and observations
- Be keen especially to those vehicles with sleepy drivers… they’re usually the ones outside their lanes.
- People tend to drive WAAAAAAY slower than usual… double-edged sword actually (“safer” driver-wise but boring speed-wise)
